The Bryan County Bark Park is looking for community members who are willing to get their paws dirty at Volunteer Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 16. The nonprofit organization needs volunteers to assist with various projects such as trimming trees, pulling weeds, refreshing landscape, and light repair work. Any volunteers who pre-register for the event will receive a free t-shirt (while supplies last) in appreciation. Please register on the Eventbrite page, which can be found by visiting https://www.eventbrite.com/o/bryan-bark-park-17867675297. Volunteers have ensured the Bark Park’s success since its inception as a registered nonprofit in 2012. The Park provides a fun and safe place for families to let their dogs off the leash and has become a favorite spot for dogs and their owners in Bryan and surrounding counties. The Bark Park aims to continue providing a clean and well-maintained space for all responsible dog owners in the area.
