The Green Spork Café & Market will celebrate its 2-year anniversary May 23, 2020 with a responsibly socially distanced parking lot event at Sawmill Plaza – 10747 Ford Ave., Richmond Hill, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
An eclectic assortment of vendors will attend the event, including Simply Potted.: a bohemian styled plant bus; The Happy Honey Pot: a health and beauty self care line; Southern Bell’s BeeCo: Richmond Hill’s newest honey producer; Artisisticle: a local organic & handmade watercolor paint crafter; and Jones Creek Farm: a local small farm and soap producer.
Samples will be served along with The Green Spork’s full Saturday menu including famous cinnamon rolls and food & beverage menu. A raffle will be held and tickets will be sold May 18- 23 to raise money for The Way Station Food Pantry in Richmond Hill. Prizes include a Billy’sBotanicals produce basket, two dozen eggs from Swallowtail Pines, several self care & art items, other farm donations and several gift certificates from The Green Spork. The list will be finalized when ticket sales begin on May 18.
The Green Spork Cafe & Market is owned by Richmond Hill locals Kimberley, Ian and Henry Jardine. The business is a solution to for those healthy, gluten-free, and plant based food options by being a dedicated gluten free and plant based bakery and kitchen.
