Howard Family Dental 11th Annual Free Day of Dentistry

Howard Family Dental is proud to offer their 11th Annual Free Day of Dentistry, held on Friday, November 22nd, 2019. The staff and dentists at Howard Family Dental will provide one free service (cleaning, filling, or extraction) for both children and adults. The event is first come, first served and is limited to the first 250 people. Over the last few years, the event has grown to include many community partners. St. Joseph's/Candler Mobile Mammography and Chatham County Health Department Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) will provide free mammograms; America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia will provide food for individuals and families that are suffering from food insecurity; local Walgreen’s pharmacist, Jim Brown, will be onsite to offer free flu shots and blood pressure checks; Strickland’s Funeral Home and Calvary Assembly of God will donate their parking lots for attendees; and several local restaurants plan to donate food and refreshments for the volunteers. Numbers will be handed out starting at 6:30 a.m. The event is held at Howard Family Dental’s Pooler location, 91 Brighton Woods Drive, every year the Friday before Thanksgiving. It is their way of kicking off the holiday season while giving thanks and appreciation to the community. Last year, Howard Family Dental Free Dental Day served over 180 people and completed an estimated $57,000 worth of services.
