The mission of the Richmond Hill Farmers Market is to strengthen our community by providing a platform to showcase our local farmers, artisans, small business owners and entertainers. The Market values the deep-rooted passion of our community and strives to reinvigorate Richmond Hill’s beloved tradition of “Build the Hill” with a weekly, family friendly event for all to enjoy.
“As a committee we are striving to have a market of integrity. To accomplish this, we have a goal, first and foremost, to bring the consumers fresh produce from regional growers in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida, thereby promoting and stimulating the regional agriculture economy. We do NOT accept brokers (vendors that do not grow or produce any of their own products).”
The idea of bringing back the Farmers Market to Richmond Hill was the brainchild of Morgan Anderson (Owner of Anderson Mercantile) and Blake Young (Owner of The Green Spork). They are supported in this effort by Samantha Byrd, Shellie Davis, Paul Downs, Jackie Montesino and Jenni Phillips.
